ABOUT ME
I’m Bella, the designer of schwarzfarbweiss.
Creativity has always been a huge part of my life. As a child, I loved painting, making jewelry and experimenting with colors and materials, always inspired by the creative energy that filled our home. My sketchbooks were full of designs and I spent hours bringing my ideas to life.
In 2014, I turned my passion into a path and started my fashion design training in Mannheim. Three inspiring years later, I graduated in 2017 as a state-certified fashion designer.
In 2018, I took the next step on my creative path and moved to Munich to study fashion design at Akademie Mode & Design. It was an amazing time where I spent days sewing and diving into projects, constantly pushing my creativity. For the first time, I created full collections, styled them on models and saw my ideas come to life. That’s when I started to shape my own design identity. Studying fashion design helped me grow both as a designer and as a person, teaching me to embrace challenges and trust my creative instincts.
During my studies, the dream of launching my own fashion label kept growing. I found myself constantly thinking about what I truly love: creating pieces that speak to my heart and reflect my vision. At some point, it all made sense. This was my path and I knew I had to go for it. That’s when the idea of schwarzfarbweiss came to life, allowing me to follow my instincts and do what I love most.
schwarzfarbweiss reflects my design philosophy:
“schwarz” (black) stands for timeless elegance.
“farb” (color) adds energy and emotion to my pieces.
“weiss” (white) represents clarity and balance.
I design intuitively, with a focus on balance in color, form and expression. Choosing a German name felt like a natural decision.
And this is my life now: a journey of following my dreams, creating fashion and finding growth in every step of the process. I find joy in the work, from the first sketch to the final stitch. Every piece carries hours of careful thought, creativity and the freedom of doing everything myself.
Every day brings a new challenge, a new idea and another step toward turning my vision into reality. It’s not always easy, but I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
Thank you for being a part of it!
